Today we're going to look at the ways you can use the Planetary Loose Incense, and for this example, let's use the Venus Loose Incense.
You can burn this incense as an offering to a Goddess or God associated with Venus, or to invoke them: Venus, Aphrodite, Ishtar, Isis, Pan, etc. The same can be done when working with the spirits, intelligences, angels, etc. of Venus You want to do a spell for love but you do not have Love Loose Incense, so you substitute with the Venus Loose Incense. The Love Loose Incense is the better choice since it is specific to the working you will be doing, but as Venus is the Goddess of Love, it would be a better choice than going with a more general magical incense. Simple, right? Now let us say that you enjoy all the pomp and circumstance that goes with ritual. You can get really creative with this incense. Let us use the love spell example one more time, but in this scenario you have the Love Loose Incense. Firstly, you use either a small amount of Love Loose Incense or Clearing Incense to cleanse and purify the space during your opening ceremony. Then, you add some of the Venus Loose Incense and invoke a Goddess or God of love to add power to your working. Once you move on to the love spell portion of the ritual, you add the Love Loose Incense to the incense burner. Once your working is complete and it is time to thank the God or Goddess, you can once again use a bit of the Venus Loose Incense as a thank you/offering, close your circle, and voila! Sounds like overkill? The answer to that really depends on your personal preferences.
